Within ±0.02 seconds on average once you've logged 20+ passes for a car. Accuracy keeps improving as you add runs across different density-altitude and temperature ranges. The predictor uses your car's historical performance, not a generic model.

Live conditions come from NOAA / National Weather Service stations when you're in the US, with Open-Meteo as a global fallback. For historical runs (more than 2 hours old), we pull from the Open-Meteo archive (ERA5 reanalysis), so old paper-logbook imports get accurate atmospheric data for the date and hour the run happened.

Density altitude is the altitude your engine "feels" given current temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. Higher DA = thinner air = slower ET. We calculate it the way Kestrel/Computech meters do (true station pressure, not sea-level-corrected), so the number lines up with what trackside meters read.

Yes — over 130 sanctioned tracks across North America are pre-loaded with location, elevation, length (1/4 vs 1/8 mile), and strip orientation (for headwind/tailwind calculations). You can also add private tracks or test-and-tune venues yourself.

Yes. Each track has a stored length; the form and predictor automatically use 1/8-mile splits and ETs when appropriate. Time slips from 1/8-mile races are auto-detected.
