Our ET predictor uses a multi-variable regression model trained exclusively on YOUR historical runs. Unlike generic weather-station dial-in apps, we account for how your car specifically reacts to atmospheric density. The model weights recent runs more heavily to account for chassis and engine wear. Weather & DA
Does the app automatically calculate density altitude?
Yes. Drag Race Logbook Pro pulls live weather from the nearest NOAA or Open-Meteo station as soon as you open a Log Run. Or snap your Kestrel, weather app, or the track tower's display — AI reads air temp, humidity, and pressure in one shot. We calculate Density Altitude (DA) using the full equation, including vapor pressure adjustments for high-humidity environments. This provides a 15% more accurate correction than simple temperature-based offsets.

Can I monitor engine vitals without a data logger?
Snap your dash before staging — AI reads oil temp, coolant, intake air, and trans temps simultaneously. Our hot-flag system triggers a warning if any temp is 10% outside of its historical "safe" range for your car. Stored with every run, this data helps you identify heat-soak patterns that cause ET drift in the staging lanes.

Track database
Which drag strips are included in the track database?
Every NHRA and IHRA member track is in our drag strip database, including elevation, orientation, length, and local time zones. GPS auto-picks your current track when you log a run. For "grudge" spots or private test tracks, use the interactive map to drop a pin; the app will automatically determine the nearest weather source and elevation for that coordinate.
